Trivia:

Supplies
  • 20 Black Pony Beads
  • 38 Red Pony Beads
  • 2 Yards Satin Cord
  • 1 Lanyard Hook
Instructions
    1. Fold the Ribbon: Take your cord and fold it in half to find the center point. This will help you start your ladybug’s body at the midpoint of the ribbon.
    2. Secure with a Half Hitch: Attach the folded center of the cord to a lanyard hook using a half hitch knot. This knot will keep the cord in place while you thread the beads.
    3. Lace Beads: Follow the pattern below to thread beads onto the cord. Be sure to maintain symmetry on both sides to create the ladybug’s body. You can use different colored beads to create the distinctive spots of a ladybug. Take your time and thread each bead carefully.
    4. Finish Off: Once you’ve completed threading all the beads according to the pattern, secure the cord at the end by tying it off with another half hitch knot or any other secure knot of your choice.
    5. Final Touches: Trim any excess cord if needed and adjust the beads to ensure they’re evenly spaced and the ladybug looks symmetrical.
