Craft Stick Snowman
Kids love making snowmen so the FreeKidsCrafts team designed one that can be made indoors just in case you don’t have any snow or it is too cold outside. This crafty snowman doesn’t melt either!
4 Jumbo Craftsticks
2 Regular Craftstick
Orange pipe cleaner
(You could also use a scrap of foam)
Tacky Glue or Glue Gun
Scraps of ribbon
Black Pony Beads
Put down newspapers to protect your work surface.
Glue the jumbo sticks together and glue one regular craft stick diagonally across the back to make sure the jumbo stick stay together. Let dry
Using the picture as a reference paint the jumbo sticks black and white for the face and hat of the snowman. Paint the regular craft stick black for the brim of the hat.
Glue one regular craft stick horizontally to make a brim for the snowman's hat.
Glue on a narrow band of ribbon as a hat band. We used a narrow red ribbon trimmed with gold for our snowman.
Glue on the wiggle eyes.
Bend the pipe cleaner in a triangle for the carrot nose. Cut off any excess and glue in place for the nose.
Glue the black pony beads in the shape of a mouth.
Make a loop out of the ribbon to make a hanger and glue to the back of the snowman.
These projects are created by Terri, Betty, Jamie or one of the talented staff members at MakingFriends.com. They have been created exclusively for publication on FreeKidsCrafts.com with supplies you'll be able to find around your house.
