Paint Chip Bookmark

Have you ever wondered what to do with those pretty paint chips after you have finished remodeling your favorite rooms. They are just too pretty to throw away. Here is a simple and easy way to turn them into bookmarks to keep your place in your favorite book.

Paint Chip samples

Hole Punch

Decorative Punches

Markers (Optional)

Using your favorite punches, punch out designs from one paint chip. We overlapped the white stripe inbetween shades to make it more interesting. Glue onto contrasting paint chip matching up the white lines.

Punch hole in top of paint chip strip and insert three or four colorful strands of yarn and make a slip knot to hold.

It's that easy. If you don't have decorative punches, have the kids draw their own designs with markers.

View From The Fridge

Katie is the writer and creator of View From The Fridge. She is also the mom to two adorable little boys (and another baby on the way), and wife to a great guy! She loves to craft, decorate, dream up projects for her home, and she’s learning to love to cook (though not there quite yet). She started View From The Fridge in the fall of 2013. Katie also enjoys coffee, a good glass of wine or beer (when she’s not expecting!), running, and anything outside. She lives in Minnesota and takes full advantage of the wonderful (but short) summer season outside with her family.
