Supplies

  • Card stock
  • Scissors
  • Glue
  • Crayons or markers if using the black and white version

Instructions

  1. Print the hat and ears template on card stock.
  2. If you are using the black and white printable, let the kids color the pieces before cutting them out.
  3. Carefully cut out the hat and the pointed ears.
  4. Glue the ears to the hat brim as shown in the example photo.
  5. Cut a 1-inch strip of card stock. Attach additional strips if needed until it is long enough to fit around the child’s head.
  6. Glue or tape the ends of the strip together to make a headband.
  7. Glue the headband to the back of the hat brim.
