Fingerprint Firefly Mother’s Day Card
Light up Mom’s life with this Fingerprint Firefly Mother’s Day Card. Â It tells her how special she is and gives her a lasting memory of your little fingers long after you’ve grown up.
Supplies
Blue Card Stock or Heavy Paper
Yellow Paper
Black Fine Point Marker
Yellow Paint
Yellow Ribbon
Glue Stick
Paper Plate
Instructions
Print mason jar on blue card stock or heavy paper and cut out.
Cut an oval out of yellow paper and write "Mom, You light up my Life" and glue it to the bottom of the mason jar using the picture as a reference.
Put yellow paint on a paper plate and dip one finger in the paint and make dots around the body of the jar. Let dry.
Once the fingerprints are dry show the kids how to draw the simple fireflies.
Make a simple bow and glue to the lid.
This will be one of the cards that Mom will stow away in her treasure box of memories.
