Tissue Paper Flower
This sweet Tissue Paper Flower craft makes a lovely handmade gift for Mom, Grandma, or another special person. Kids will enjoy rolling and gluing the soft tissue paper pieces to create a colorful flower decoration they can proudly give as a gift. For an extra special touch, lightly spray the finished flower with perfume so it can be hung in a closet, bathroom, or bedroom.

Supplies
- Tissue paper in one or more colors
- Scissors
- Tacky glue
- Ribbon or cord, about 6 inches long
- Card stock
- Perfume, optional
Instructions
- Print the flower pattern onto card stock and cut it out.
- Cut the tissue paper into small 2-inch squares. Crumple each square into a tight little ball.
- Dip each tissue paper ball lightly into tacky glue, then press it onto the flower pattern.
- Keep adding tissue paper balls until the flower is fully covered and looks nice and full.
- Glue a loop of ribbon or cord to the back so the flower can be hung up.
- Let the glue dry completely. If you want, lightly spray the flower with perfume before giving it as a gift.

Patterns, Templates and Printables
Print the flower template on card stock before starting the project. This gives children a sturdy base for gluing on the tissue paper pieces.

Teacher Friendly Educational Extension
This easy craft is a fun way for children to practice fine motor skills through cutting, crumpling, and placing small pieces of tissue paper. Teachers and homeschoolers can also use this project to talk about texture, color choices, and handmade gifts.
