Hairy the Handprint Dog

If you don’t have a dog here is a chance to have one that requires very little care and is lots of fun to have around.


White Cardstock or Heavy weight papePrinter


Paper Plate



Print the dog pattern.

Place newsprint down to protect your work surface.

Put paint on paper plate and have child place their right hand palm down.

Place palm on pattern making sure the thumb extends to the nose on the pattern.

If some of the pattern become obscured by the paint, wait until it dries and touch up with black marker.
