Recycle those old puzzle pieces into this pretty decorative wreath designed by the Free Kids Crafts Team. This easy wreath is perfect for decorating packages or cards and is a craft that can be completed by all.

Trivia:

John Spilsbury, a London cartographer, and engraver is believed to have produced the first “jigsaw” puzzle around 1760. It was a map glued to a flat piece of wood and then cut into pieces following the lines of the countries. Supplies

• White Card Stock
• Puzzle with Missing Pieces
• Green Paint
• Brush
• Red Ribbon
• Scissors
• Glue
• Newspaper

Instructions

1. Spread newspaper to protect your work surface
2. Paint the back of puzzle pieces green. (The front is usually coated with a sealer and will not absorb paint well. Let dry.
3. Draw a double circle on card stock with two large bowls or a compass.
4. Cut out the circle for the base of your wreath. Paint green.
5. Glue the puzzle pieces using photo above as a guide.
6. Tie on a pretty red ribbon to finish it off.
