This adorable Easter Bunny Corsage was made from some lonely artificial flowers we found at the Dollar Store.  The corsage can also be used as a package or basket trim. Craft supplies can be found everywhere if you are willing to look outside the box.

Trivia:

Records indicate that the history of floral fakes began towards the end of the seventeenth century (1601-1700), when a new practice arose. Flowers made of paper, silk and other material began to be substituted for natural flowers. These hand-made fake flowers came to be known as French flowers or Gum flowers. Supplies

• Artificial Day Lilly for ears
• Small artificial flower for nose
• Stamen from artificial flower for whiskers
• Wiggle Eyes
• Ribbon
• Hot Glue Gun*
• Pin (optional)

*Note: Hot glue guns should be used by responsible adult.

Instructions

1. Carefully clip the stems off of the Carnation and Day Lilly.
2. Cut two leaves off of the Day Lilly and attach to the back of the Carnation with glue gun.
3. Glue small flower for combination nose/mouth. Glue two stamen behind each side of the small flower as whiskers.
4. Make bow and hot glue to back of carnation.
5. If using as a corsage, glue pin back to complete your corsage.
