Turn  some of those corks that you saved into this Cute Cork Kitten with help from the kids. Corks make a great craft material so don’t throw them out.

Trivia:

Cork oak is the primary source of most cork products in the world, including wine bottle stoppers. These trees primarily grow in countries that run along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, where there’s plenty of sunshine, low rainfall and high humidity. Supplies

• Corks
• Wiggle Eyes
• Round Toothpicks
• Wiggle Eyes
• Tan Pipe Cleaner
• Craft Foam: Tan
• Hot Glue

Instructions

1. Using the picture as a reference, hot glue the corks together to form the kitten.
2. Hot Glue Wiggle eyes and toothpicks that have been shortened to form the whiskers.
3. Cut triangles from the craft foam for the ears and nose and glue as indicated.
4. Bend pipe cleaner and form into tail and glue to kitten body.
