Duct Tape Journal Crafts

There have always been so many uses for Duct tape and now it comes in colors and patterns. This Duct Tape Journal craft is the beginning of a series of items making use of this fun craft material. Perfect project for one to make or for a troop or class.

Supplies
  • Duct tape in your favorite color or pattern
  • Fancy shoelace
  • Construction paper
  • Cardboard from a recycled box
  • Hole punch
  • Paper
Instructions
  1. Cut two pieces the same size from a cardboard box and wrap with duct tape.
  2. Cut a rectangle of construction paper and glue in the center. Cut out your initial or any other decoration you may want to use and glue to paper. This is your front cover. Just cover the back cover with duct tape.
  3. Punch holes in the covers and also in the sheets of paper that are trimmed to fit inside. Make sure the holes line up.
  4. Thread fancy shoelace through the holes and tie in a bow in the front.

Now you have a great way to journal your adventures at camp or on vacation.
