Colors are a part of our life from the very beginning. This Printable Colors Word Search puzzle helps kids put a name to their favorite colors.

Trivia:

It was 1903 when the crayon made its debut. Before that a child’s crayon was just a stick of colored clay or chalk. It looked nice but when put to paper, nothing much happened — not a pretty picture. Supplies

• White Paper
• Printer
• Pen or Pencil
• Crayons

Instructions

1. Click on the thumbnail below and print out as many copies of the Color Word Search as you need.
2. Set the kids to work with pens and pencils to search out their favorite colors.
3. Have them finish up by coloring the picture and take it home to hang on the fridge.
