Grassy Potato Hedgehog
Kids are always looking for things to do during their summer vacation. This Grassy Potato Hedgehog is a fun and interesting way to teach youngsters about the way things grow and what it takes to nurture that growth.
Supplies
Grass seed
Cotton wool
Half a potato
Knife (to be used by responsible adult)
Tablespoon or ice cream scoop
Instructions
Cut a potato in half.
Scoop out the middle and replace with cotton wool.
Dampen the cotton wool.
Sprinkle on seed it will grow very quickly!
