These projects are created by Terri, Betty, Jamie or one of the talented staff members at MakingFriends.com. They have been created exclusively for publication on FreeKidsCrafts.com with supplies you'll be able to find around your house.
Click on Printables and print out the snowflake pattern to show you where to place your pins. You can also create your own pattern.
Lay pattern on cork board and push pins through the paper and into the cork board.
Wrap yarn around pins in the same method as the old string art keeping it taut but be careful not to pull out pins. We have have supplied a photo showing you how we wrapped our snowflake.
Dilute tacky glue with a little water and brush on yarn. Sprinkle with glitter while still wet and let dry.
Form a bow with your ribbon and glue to top of snowflake. If using as a tree ornament attach a loop for hanging. This decoration is perfect for a package, ornament or a card for a special person. A series of them would make a beautiful mobile too.
