It’s Dandelion season and our Recycled Wishes Jar turns those fluffy white seeds into a magic potion to send your wish on its way. The best wishes are those involving family and friends. Give it a try and see what happens.

Their presence alone attracts and supports several key species in the local ecosystem, including native bees, butterflies, moths, and birds, which in turn pollinate fruits, vegetables, herbs, and other flowers that feed even more species. Supplies

• Clean Small Jar with Lid
• Tacky Glue or Hot Glue
• Color Printer
• Scissors
• Ribbon
• Small Pieces of White Paper

Instructions

1. Thoroughly clean a jar with a lid. We used a small salsa jar but we have supplied you with a variety of sizes of the printable to fit the lid of your jar.
2. Be sure to clean off all of the label and glue so you have a pretty wish jar.
3. Print out the labels, select the correct size for your lid and cut and paste to the lid.
4. Glue a pretty ribbon around the edge of the lid.
5. Now all you have to do is write your wish or wishes on a piece of paper and put it in the jar. Then take the white headed dandelion and blow it into the jar and wait to see if your wish comes true.
