Twig Vase Craft
Contributor

With ten years of "Grand" parenting behind the team at Kabubble they've come up with lots of ideas on how to have lots of fun along the way and they have created treasured memories. This site shares those ideas with all grandparents and parents.

Take the kids on a nature hike and collect twigs to cover a glass bottle to make a beautiful craft vase. Rustically pretty and a great gift.

Supplies

Twigs
Empty glass jar

Instructions

Gather a bunch of twigs, the straighter the better. Break or cut them an inch or two longer than the height of the jar.

Wrap two rubber bands around the jar, one an inch from the top, the other an inch from the bottom.

Cover the jar with the twigs, slipping them under the rubber bands. This is a little tricky, requiring some manual dexterity and patience, but older children shouldn't have a problem. The younger ones might need a little help.

Cover the rubber bands with raffia or ribbon and fill your vase with flowers.
