Every child needs a stocking at Christmas. These Tissue Paper Stockings designed by the FreeKidsCrafts team are easy to make and can be personalized for each child. These stockings also make great decorations for young crafters to make for packages.

White Cardstock or Heavyweight Paper 

Red Tissue Paper

Cotton Balls or White Tissue Paper

Tacky Glue

Scissors

Paper Plate

Newspaper

Marker

Click on Printables and print out the patterns. Cut out.

Place pattern on newspaper.Put some tacky glue on the paper plate. Dip cotton balls into tacky glue and place on stocking trim. You can also use white tissue paper for this step.

Cut red tissue paper into pieces approximately 1 1/2" to 2" square. Crinkle into a ball and dip into the tacky glue. Place on pattern. I find it helpful to go around the edges first and then fill in.

With marker print childs name on tag and glue to stocking.

Crumple up three small square of red tissue paper for the holly berries and glue on.
