These projects are created by Terri, Betty, Jamie or one of the talented staff members at MakingFriends.com. They have been created exclusively for publication on FreeKidsCrafts.com with supplies you'll be able to find around your house.

This Tisssue Paper Pumpkin craft is fun for kids of all ages. It can be as intricate or simple as the ability of its creator. Use our pattern or let the kids make up one of their own. This tissue paper pumpkin can be combined with our Tissue Paper Black Cat and Tissue Paper Ghost for a complete Halloween themed bulletin board. There are also some Tissue Paper Fall Leaves to add to the decorations.

Instructions

Click on printable and print out the pumpkin pattern or draw one of your own original creations. Cut out and place on newspaper to protect your surface from stray glue.

Cut tissue paper into 1 inch squares. No need to be exact, but similar size pieces are a good idea. Crumple into balls.

Squeeze some glue on the paper plate and dip your tissue paper pieces one at a time and place on pattern.  I usually start with the smaller areas like the eyes, stem and mouth first because it helps to keep the design.
