Snow Dough Snowman Click here to print

Mix up a batch of snow dough and make miniature snowmen to keep the kids busy when couped up on a cold, wintery day. You can add glitter to make your snowmen sparkle and keep the dough snow white. Food coloring can be added for other projects. This is a FreeKidsCrafts.com original craft.

Supplies

Snow Dough:

2 Cups Baking Soda

1 Cup Cornstarch

1-1/4 Cups Water

Toothpicks

Bottle Cap from Sports Bottle

Seed Beads

1/4" Ribbon

Orange Maker

Instructions

Print recipe card. Make snow dough using the recipe provided. Roll three balls. 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Stack on top of each other. Break a toothpick in half. Push into sides for arms. Break the tip off a second toothpick, color it orange and push into face for a carrot nose. Press in small seed beads for eyes and buttons. Bake or let air dry. Place a sport bottle cap on the head for a hat. Use a piece of ribbon for a scarf.
