Kids love to craft animals. This Paper Plate Pig designed by the FreeKidsCrafts team is the latest addition to our paper plate animal family. The supplies are simple and easy to craft into a successful art project to hang on the wall.

Trivia:

Feral swine are not native to the Americas. They were first brought to the United States in the 1500s by early explorers and settlers as a source of food. Free-range livestock management practices and escapes from enclosures led to the first establishment of feral swine populations within the United States. Supplies

• 2 Pink plastic plates
• Matching pink cup
• Large Wiggle eyes
• Black marker
• Low Temp Glue gun
• Glue sticks
• Scissors

Editor’s Notes:

If you want to use paper plates, just paint them the desired colors and let dry before following the directions.

Glue gun should be used by a responsible adult.

Instructions

1. Cut cup down to about 1 1/2 inches leaving two tabs on either side of the cup.
2. Fold tabs in and apply hot glue and affix to plate using picture as reference.
3. Glue on Wiggle eyes.
4. Cut ear shapes out of other plate and glue to face plate.
5. Draw on mouth. nostrils and ear lines for your complete little pig.
