Mardi Gras is a time for the last big celebration and parades before the season of Lent. Here's an easy Mardi Gras mask that the littles crafter can decorate to please themselves.

White Cardstock or heavy paper

Elastic Cord

Scissors

Hole Punch

Optional:

  Feathers

  Jewels

  Trim

  Tacky Glue

  Markers or Crayons

Click on Printables and print out either the colored mask or the black and white version. If the kids are coloring their masks, do it before you cut them out. Cut out mask.

Decorate with feathers or jewels or whatever makes you feel festive.

Punch holes in each side of the mask.

Measure enough elastic cord to fit around the child\'s head comfortable and tie into the punched holes.

Now get your own special parade together to celebrate.
