Thanksgiving Finger Puppets

Thanksgiving is a great time for story telling and your Thanksgiving Finger Puppets make the stories even more fun. Start out by telling your story and then encourage the kids to make up a story of their own to go with their puppets.

Trivia:

The first Thanksgiving probably included corn which records show was plentiful at the first harvest, might have been served, but not in the way most people enjoy it now. In those days, the corn would have been removed from the cob and turned into cornmeal, which was then boiled and pounded into a thick corn mush or porridge that was occasionally sweetened with molasses. Supplies

White Paper
Scissors
Glue Stick
Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils (optional)

Instructions

Print out your finger puppet template in either black and white or color. If you selected the black and white version, have the kids color it first.
Cut out the puppets and strips of white paper printed on the template. Glue strip in the middle and attach to the puppet bodies. Wrap the strip in a circle, and glue the ends to form a loop.
Slip the loop over your fingers and get ready to create your own Thanksgiving pageant.
