Have the kids make this Father’s Day Recycled Cookie Container created from a Pringles can. The kids can make cookies just the right size to fit into the container and Dad will enjoy the look and taste of his Father’s Day treat.

Supplies

• White Heavy Paper
• Colored Heavy Paper
• Brown or Black Heavy Paper
• Black Marker
• Hot Glue or Glue Dots
• Scissors
• Empty Potato Chip Container
• Homemade Cookies

Instructions

1. For the pants, cut a piece of heavy paper in half lengthwise (4.25″ x 11″). Holding one piece horizontally, draw a 2.5″ line in the the middle of the piece from the bottom up. Glue around the bottom of the empty potato chip can. Piece will overlap at the back.
2. Print the shirt and tie printable on white paper. Cut out shirt and tie. Fold on dotted lines to form collar. Center shirt piece over line on pants and glue to top edge of can leaving the collar tabs unglued.
3. Cut a 1/2″ strip of brown or black paper for the belt. Glue over can where the pants and shirt meet.
4. Print jacket printable on colored paper. Fold on lines. Center and wrap around the top edge of can, under the collar. Glue in place, leaving the bottom edges unglued. Glue tie under the collar leaving the bottom unglued.
5. Fill with Dad’s favorite homemade cookies.
