Instructions

BASE: Lightly sand base to rough surface and paint with two coats Flesh Tone. Let dry.

HAIR: Gently fluff and glue curly hair around bottom 1/2" of Renuzit® topper.

HAT:
Click on printables and follow directions to make sure you have the right size pattern. For top of hat, cut a 2 1/2" circle from dark green felt and poster board; align and glue together. Draw a 2" circle in the center of the poster board circle. For tabs, cut slits to marked line 1/4" apart around outside edge of circle. Bend tabs down.

Trace and cut hat from dark green felt according to pattern. To form hat cylinder, run a line of craft glue along top edge, and glue to hat top over tabs, overlapping short edges approximately 1/2" at back. Glue overlapping edges.

Trace and cut hat brim from dark green felt according to pattern, cutting on solid lines. Cut slits along the inner circle of the hat brim as indicated on pattern. Slip brim onto topper over hair and glue to topper. Place hat cylinder onto topper and spot blue to brim.

For hatband, cut a 1" x 9" piece from light green felt. Wrap and glue around bottom of hat cylinder overlapping short edges at back.

To shape hat, push top down and spot glue in the fold that is formed to secure.

FACE: Place plastic bag over mouth pattern and trace using Calico Red dimensional paint. Let dry.

Position and glue wiggle eyes to base, centering on front of face approximately 5/8" apart, aligning with top of base.

For nose, glue pom pom to center of face just below base rim.

Peel dried mouth from plastic and glue under nose, using craft glue.

Use toothpick and brown paint to dot freckles on cheeks.

For ears, cut a 3/4" circle from beige felt. Cut circle in half and glue to sides of head.

EMBELLISHMENTS: For Shamrock, paint Woodsies® hearts, circle and craft pick Bright Green. Position hearts with points at center to form a shamrock. Glue circle to back of hearts to secure. Trim craft pick to 2" length with craft snips and glue to back of circle. Tuck pick behind hatband and tack glue shamrock to left side of hat.

For buckle, trace center of buckle onto Woodsie® square according to pattern. Paint center Bright Green, and remainder Glorious Gold. With marker, outline along the green center and the four edges of buckle. Glue buckle to center of hatband.
