Supplies

7” Black Paper Plate
10” Green Paper Plate
Hole Punch
Sharp Pencil
1 Black Pipe Cleaner for Antennae
Tacky Glue and Clothespins
Scissors
3 Black Pipe Cleaners for Legs
Assorted Colors of Constructions Paper
2 wiggle eyes – 35mm
Black Marker

Instructions

Punch 2 holes 1 ¼” apart along the rim of the larger plate.

 

Position the black plate as the head under the larger plate. Mark where the holes line up on the black plate.

 

Push pencil through to make holes in the head wear marked.

 

Glue plates together lining up the holes. Use clothespin to hold in place until dry.

 

Fold pipe cleaner in half and feed up through holes from the bottom of the plates. Curl ends.

 

Punch 3 holes in each side. Cut 3 pipe cleaners in half. Insert 1” of each half pipe cleaner into a punched hole. Glue underneath using clothespins to hold until dry. Bend into leg shapes.

 

Cut circles out of construction paper. Glue onto bug body.

 

Glue on wiggle eyes.
