Handprint crafts are always a favorite with young children. Everytime they see a project that has something of them incorporated, it is sure to bring a smile.
Place the hand a forearm on the construction paper with the fingers spread. (see photo of finished project). Trace around the hand and down the forearm to the edge of the paper.
Cut out and glue to the cardstock.
Apply heart stickers as leaves or cut your own valentines and glue on.
It makes a lovely framed art piece for a special relative or friend.
