This loopy Scruffy Easter Chick is sure to bring a smile to little faces when they find him perched in their Easter Basket or atop a package. The FreeKidsCrafts team found our body scrub at the Dollar Store, a great source for craft materials.
Supplies
Small yellow body scrub
Orange Pipe Cleaner
Orange Scrap Felt
Wiggle eyes
Yellow feathers
Hot glue gun
Note: Hot glue guns should be used by a responsible adult.
Cut yellow feathers down to appropriate scale for your body scrub and hot glue to back of scrub.
Cut diamond shape out of orange scrap felt and fold in half to form beak. Glue in fold and hold for a could of seconds while glue cools and attaches beak to scrub.
Glue on wiggle eyes
Fold orange pipe cleaner in half and cut to appropriate leg length for your scrub. Cut two small sections of pipe cleaner to form the foot and twist around bottom of leg to form feet.
This little guy looks a little cross eyed, but that just adds to his charm. Naturally this little guy is no longer useable as a body scrub.
