Ichthus, illustrated in the picture, is the Greek word for fish and was used by the early Christians as a secret symbol to identify each other. This puzzle is used to illustrate that everybody has a part in the whole. This is a good project for a sunday school class. Click on Printables and print out the fish pattern. Trace Fish onto construction paper. Cut out and glue onto 8.5 x 11 sheet of contrasting paper.

Use small pieces as patterns and trace on various colors of paper.

Assign each child a part of the puzzle and a spot to glue it on the fish using the photo as a reference.

Show them how working together they can all become one.
