Instructions

Click on Printables and print the pattern.

If you want bigger magnets, enlarge pattern on a copy machine. Cut out the pail, shovel and ball in one piece cutting along the outside of the thick black outlines.

Use glue stick to adhere them to a piece of black craft foam. Cut out the backing.

Remove the patterns from the foam and glue them to the colors you want each piece to be.

Cut the individual pieces cutting along the inside of the thick outlines.

Lay the pieces in place on top of each item’s black backing foam. Adhere with tacky glue.

Cut a length of craft wire (in proportion to the size of your pail, mine is 3 ¼ inches). Poke one end through the “front” of the pail and form a loop.

Curve the handle as shown in the photo and poke the other end of the wire through the “back” of the pail. Close with another loop.

For the flip flops, cut out the sandal and thong patterns.

One pattern makes both the right and left flip flop. Just flip the pattern upside down to make the second shoe.

Use glue stick to adhere the sandal to your choice of craft foam. Cut.

Use a pointy scissors (cuticle scissors work well) to poke through pattern and foam where indicated for the thong to attach. Peel the paper away from the foam.

Glue the thong pattern to a contrasting color of foam, cut and peel away the paper. Put a dab of tacky glue on the tip of the thong’s toe piece.

Use the pointy scissor to push the toe piece into the front hole of the sandal. Let it stick upright and set aside for a few minutes.

When the glue has set a bit, repeat the glue-and-insert process with each of the thong’s straps.

Cut pieces of magnet sheet for the back of each shape and glue with tacky glue.
