Flag Handprint Wreath

The Olympics are a great time to teach kids about customs and traditions of other countries. This Flag Handprint Wreath makes learning even more fun.

Supplies

White card
colouring pens
Glue

Instructions

Give each child a piece of white card and have them draw and cut out their hand.

Let each child decorate their card hand with the design of a different flag. For older children you could just give them the country name and have them research the design of their flag.

This craft has been reprinted courtesy of Activity Village where you will find printable flags that the kids can color for this project.

Katie is the writer and creator of View From The Fridge. She is also the mom to two adorable little boys (and another baby on the way), and wife to a great guy! She loves to craft, decorate, dream up projects for her home, and she’s learning to love to cook (though not there quite yet). She started View From The Fridge in the fall of 2013. Katie also enjoys coffee, a good glass of wine or beer (when she’s not expecting!), running, and anything outside. She lives in Minnesota and takes full advantage of the wonderful (but short) summer season outside with her family.
