These community helpers buddies paper dolls make great playtime activities for kids to identify with these heroes. Every year we take time out to recognize the people who are always there to come to our aid. In 2020 we have become acutely aware of how important these community helpers are in our lives.

Labor Day is celebrated in cities and towns across the United States with parades, picnics, barbecues, fireworks displays and other public gatherings, especially over the long Labor Day weekend. Supplies

• Printer
• White paper
• Scissors
• Crayons, Markers or Colored Pencils (optional)
• Glue Stick
• Buddy Paper Dolls black and white
• Buddy Paper Dolls color

Instructions

1. Print and cut out the outfits for your favorite buddy paper doll. If you are selecting black and white, color the outfits first and then cut out. The cutouts are easier to color before they are cut out.
2. Glue the uniforms to your favorite buddy paper doll and have a conversation about all the things our community helpers do for us every day. It is a good opportunity to teach children how to dial 911 in an emergency.
