Kids will get a lot of fun out of making these Christmas Window Watchers. Let them display them in your windows and watch your visitors smile when they spy them. This is a fun way to extend your indoor Christmas decorations to the outside.

Trivia:

The tradition of adding ornaments to trees kicked off in Germany in the 1600s, when fruits and nuts were laid on evergreens. Supplies

• Patterns for Santa: White, Red Black & Peach
• Patterns for Snowman: White, Red, Green, Black & Orange
• Patterns for Reindeer: Brown, Orange, Tan, Red & Black
• Craft Foam: 1 Sheet each of Orange, Tan, Red, Black, Brown, Green, Peach; 2 Sheets of White
• Tacky Glue
•  Six Suction Cups
• Scissors

Instructions

1. Print patterns.
2. Staple patterns to craft foam at edges. Do not staple inside the areas you will be using.
3. Cut out pieces, assemble and glue using picture for a guide.
4. Glue suction cups in place, moisten and hang from your window.

Editor’s Note: If you don’t have suction cups handy, just tape the faces on the window by the edges.
