Canvas Sand Fish

Kids love fish and this sand craft lets them create a fish from their wildest imagination.

Supplies

8" X 10" STRETCHED CANVAS
SAND 2LB LAVENDER
SAND 2LB BLUE
SAND 2LB RED
SAND 2LB ORANGE
SAND 2LB SUN YELLOW
SAND 2LB BRIGHT GREEN
4 OZ IRIDESCENT GLITTER GLUE
Hot glue
15mm wiggle eyes
Paint brush
Black and blue yarn

Instructions

Click on printables to print out fish pattern and cut out. Trace onto canvas
 
Using a paintbrush, apply iridescent glitter glue to one section of fish. cover glue with sand. Shake off excess. Repeat until all areas are covered. 
 
Outline areas of fish by gluing on black yarn as shown. Cut three 2" pieces of black yarn. Glue to top area of canvas as shown to create birds Glue on Wiggle Eyes.  
 
Apply iriidescent glitter glue to entire bottom area of canvas around fish. Cover with blue sand. Shake off excess. 
 
When sand is totally dry, apply iridescent glitter glue to various areas of fish and water as shown.  
 
Glue blue yarn around edge of canvas.
