This Handprint Lamb is as cute as can be, you’ll want to make a whole flock! Little kids love to look at crafts made with their handprint and parents and grandparents will look back on these keepsakes for years to come.

Trivia:

In past centuries it was considered a lucky omen to meet a lamb, especially at Easter time. It was a popular superstition that the devil, who could take the form of all other animals, was never allowed to appear in the shape of a lamb because of its religious symbolism.

Supplies

• White Paper
• Black Marker
• Cotton Balls
• Glue
• Scissors

Instructions

1. To make this Handprint Lamb, fold paper in half. Keeping fingers tightly together, lay your hand along the fold, lining up the middle finger on the fold. Your pinky and ring finger will be off the page.
2.  Trace around your middle finger, your pointer, the thumb and palm. Cut out.
3.  Open the folded page. Your middle finger will become the nose and the thumb will be the ears.
4.  Color in the nose and make two eyes.
5.  We made stitching lines around the outside edge for interest.
6.  Glue cotton balls to the head for wool.
